Vision statement: Vision statement is an attempt to capture our specific calling in ministry and it is a consolidated expression of what God has been imparting as a dream for future. Our present vision statement is – “UESI seeks toevangelize post-matric students in India, nurture them as disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ, that they may serve the church and society”. It sounds like a Mission statement. So we have a new Vision statement on our proposal: “Transformed post-matric student communities, transforming campuses and the nation through the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
Mission statement: While Vision statement is to describe the dream of the organization, a Mission statement attempts to define the focus and the key actions needed to accomplish the vision of the organization. As on date, there is no Mission statement formulated for UESI. Therefore, the following Mission statement is proposed – “UESI seeks to evangelize post-matric students in India, nurture them through the study of the Word of God, develop them into communities of disciples of Jesus Christ, train and mentor them as spiritual leaders to impact the church and society for His glory”.
